Just Saab Cincinnati
2010 Saab 1480
The staff was very courteous and didn't pressure me into buying something I didn't want. They were also knowledgeable on all potential problems I may face down the road. The service department was reasonably priced; more so than many of the independent garages in my area. They allowed me to test drive the vehicle and even let me play with all the bells and whistles. It was raining that day and since I was looking at getting a convertible they even suggested I come back on a day that wasn't so nasty outside to really get a feel for the vehicle. I was thoroughly impressed with my experience and I highly recommend them over any other SAAB dealer / specialist in the tri-state area.

2010 Saab 1476
My mechanic (SAAB / Volvo specialist of 24 years) recommended them. They've been in business for years and it's where he buys his vehicles. They were courteous and had the vehicle I wanted in stock and didn't try to sell me something else. . . something more expensive. They were very upfront about the cars history and provided a carfax report along with all the services records of the car and I was able to give them the price I wanted to pay without much haggling.

The sales staff was extremely knowledgeable about their vehicles and didn't pressure me into anything. I felt as though I was treated with respect and they didn't try to heap a ton of financing or hidden 'extras' with the car I purchased. The service department was very reasonably priced (much cheaper than any other dealership or service center in the tri-state areas). The facilities felt modern and were very tidy and I didn't feel like I was stepping into a second rate dealership.

Blue Grass Lincoln Mercury Louisville
2008 Mercury 1866
This dealership was awesome because of their customer service. They were very helpful and did not come off as pushy! That is a real problem when it comes to some car dealerships. My grandfather used to work for a Mercury dealership in Ohio and so when my family went to start looking for cars, we definitely knew that we were going to get a Mercury. My overall experience with this dealership was awesome, thank you!

The friendliness of the staff. They are always willing to help you in anyway that they can and go out of their way to make sure you are happy. The selection of cars available for this dealership is always good amount and a good variety. The location is not too far out. It is in a small town but in a good area.

If you are looking for one of the best tips about driving in Louisville, here it is: My number one tip that I would give all drivers who find themselves driving within Louisville is that if you are in a neighborhood where you know there is a lot of on-street parking, it is a very good idea to stay at least one lane left for the far right lane if at all possible. You don't want to have to keep weaving in and out of the right hand land if there are cars parked on the street. This also saves your gas and prevents accidents. You or others may not be able to react fast enough to the interweaving in and out of the far right lane so it is best to avoid this if at all possible because accidents are stressful and pricey not to mention you or someone else could be hurt. Another reason to stay just inside of the far right lane is because cycling is very popular in Louisville and you just don't ever want to hit anyone on a bicycle. Be watchful. Sometimes the biggest accidents can occur in those situations. A lot of times, while driving in these kinds of areas, I notice others weaving in and out of the far right lane trying to avoid the parked cars and I always wonder why they don't just avoid that lane until they absolutely need it (like to make a turn or to park because you have reached your destination).
If you are planning to buy a car in Louisville, Kentucky I highly recommend searching at a reliable online car shopping site first so you can get a very good and broad scope of what the city has to offer. Then feel free to check out each of the retailers around the city and compare and contrast their inventory for your preference. Then make sure you set some time aside to spend physically going to several of your top choices of car retailers so you are able to ask questions live and see and feel each car you are considering. I would also recommend that you try to schedule your time for a test drive at two different times. Yes, take two test drives before purchasing. One test drive would be for a time when it is not rush hour so you have the ability to become more familiar with the feel of the car driving both on surface streets and on free-ways without the burden of being slowed by heavy traffic. This will give you a best idea of the true performance of the car. The second time you do a test drive, do it at rush hour because you will inevitably drive the car at some point during rush hour. Consider the amount of time you normally spend in rush hour and compare and contrast between how well you like driving a particular car during these periods. Then compare both drives from each car. That way you will have the most well rounded and informed decision. One more thing is to get an insurance quote for each of the cars you are considering to purchase, sometimes, the insurance difference will really open your eyes to what you are most comfortable with, taking all other factors into account.
I absolutely love driving this city at night. Seeing the downtown lit up at night from the surface streets is pretty as well as viewing the night time cityscape from the freeways that go around downtown. My most favorite memory of driving in Louisville was when I recently moved to Louisville. I drove all the way around the city using the inner freeway loop and was able to see the different parts of the city. It was a very interesting and fun experience. I think that is why this experience resonates with me so much. I would imagine what people's lives are like in the houses or buildings that I would drive past. I would wonder what kind of people this city was home to. There are different looking parts to each city. The city is also an older city, so I had fun imagining about the former lives of older industrial buildings while driving past them. There is so much charm and personality that comes with this city. Just driving through the city it is clear that there is most probably something for everyone in this city. If you haven't ever driven all the way around Louisville before at night, I highly recommend it. It is a fun way to spend some time getting to know the city and you'll be able to see why people fall in love with this city.
Hurstbourne Pkwy.. Hurstbourne Parkway is my favorite road to drive because it is a close major road to where I live. It traverses the East suburban side of Louisville which is where I prefer to spend most of my time. I love to drive this road because it is the main access road to very many of the places that I love to visit. There are all sorts of shopping and dining venues galore and you can find everything you need on Hurstbourne Parkway. Sometimes, during rush hour, when the driving times are a little long and I am not pressed to be anywhere at a certain amount of time, I like to just stop into a store or restaurant that is so convenient from the road and spend the rush hour entertaining myself there. The time flies, especially if I go into a plaza that offers multiple shopping and dining options so I can wait out the rush hour. Before I know it, I am back on the road and able to go home in a leisurely manner. The lanes are wide and there are plenty of lights to direct traffic accordingly, even when you have to be somewhere. Hurstbourne Pkwy offers easy access to the freeway as well. Some of the very best places in the city can be found right off of Hurstbourne Parkway for sure.

Louisville is a HUGE, fast-paced city, and for new drivers, using the many interstates can be intimidating, and is often easier just to simply learn side roads--it may take a few extra minutes to reach your destination, but you will be able to see the city more and take your time getting there! Also, don't limit yourself to "one end of town", explore all of the city.
Buying a car in any city, but particularly Louisville, it is important that you do your research. Know what kind of car you want, and know what a reasonable price is. Learn how to negotiate and be patient! There are always great deals that come up, and don't be afraid to table an offer to think about it. Also, test driving is a must; there are a lot of used car lots in town that try and portray their cars as top notch, but in my opinion, if you purchase a car from one of these lots, take it to a trusted car shop THE NEXT DAY and get in tested and make sure to ask the tough questions, and read the fine print to ensure you are getting the best deal-- including reeving a warranty on the car (typically a 24-48 hour window to return free of charge). Not everyone is honest, and people will try and take advantage of you (especially if you are young) I always suggest taking a parent or trusted adult with you.
This is the city that I was born and raised in, I learned to drive in my dad's old beat up pick up truck in our church parking lot, and learned to navigate the interstate, and learned the importance of side roads and "alternate routes" in Louisville. Overall, this city is huge and has so many different sub-parts (J-Town, Lyndon, St. Matthews, Okolona, Fern Creek, Shepherdsville, Blue Lick, etc.) That there is never a dull moment or lack of things to do. A favorite memory has to be this past Spring, introducing my now husband to the city for the first time, I was able to take him to all of my favorite stores and places, including the Waterfront, the Highlands, St. Matthews, and Bardstown Road, and helped him truly experience the culture in Louisville.
Bardstown Road. Bardstown Road holds a few pieces of significance for me, the first is that is the place where my high school was located, so I have a lot of memories associated with learning how to drive, getting my driver's license, and being able to drive myself to school and that was the road that I took in order to get there. I also drove that road to go to football games, and watch my little sister play basketball at our high school. Additionally, Bardstown Road has a lot of great restaurants and a few "social" areas including a movie theater and miniature golf course that I frequented with my friends. Finally, "cruising" down this road, into the "Highlands" of Louisville is still a favorite pastime, the Highlands is full of eclectic businesses and people, and is a direct connection to the historic and beautiful Downtown Louisville area.
