2000 Mercury Grand Marquis OWNER RATINGS & REVIEWS
Eric
Arlington Heights, Pennsylvania
Of 25 cars I have owned, it is, overall, the best.
It is a roomy car with plenty of space for family and has a pleasing appearance that looks like an American car. It is a dependable car and has a very nice ride. The style was kept the same for over ten years, so it did not look out-moded over time. The fuel economy was remarkable with a full size, and the powerful V-8 would regularly get over 30 miles per gallon for a trip on cruise control. I drove over 100,000 trouble-free miles in comfort and felt safe. I live in the rust belt, and the car did not rust out so must have had good coatings.

Solid comfy ride but a real pig on gas
Inherited vehicle from my Dad. It is a perfect vehicle for a senior citizen. Very safe, solid and comfy ride. Comes with all the bells and whistles- cold air, great sound system and dash computer that is really nifty. The computer can calculate instantaneous gas mileage for any given moment as well as averages over different driving conditions. This makes the predominant negative feature of this vehicle so painfully obvious. The gas mileage is just horrible- 10-ish for stop and go city driving and maybe 14 or 15 on the freeway.
