Its important to be very careful when driving in this city. Frankly, there are no not very good drivers in the city so you have to watch where you are going and leave plenty of space between cars.

Make sure you go to a reputable dealer and of course do your research in line first to understand pricing before approaching a salesperson.

I really love driving along the beaches in general and especially driving north from Miami towards Fort Lauderdale. There are areas with beach front mansions and other places with beautiful hi rise condos with majestic views of the blue ocean. Its fun to drive by and imagine living in place where you can walk out directly onto the sand.

Ocean Drive. It is fun to "people watch" when driving in this area of Miami Beach. Sure you have to be careful because you are driving, bit its fascinating to see all the beautiful and interesting people walking along the beach, especially on weekend afternoons.

I really don't suggest that you drive while close to the beach. I would suggest the UBER car pick up service. You wont have to worry about parking/fees or ever being towed

When buying stay away from the beach area. Try to purchase as "inline" as possible. The cars are much less expensive.

Driving on Miami beach can really be a pain is you are trying to get to the nightlife and want to be there at a certain time. Its ok if you like to sight see and don't like to be held up in traffic.

Ocean drive. This is one o the main roads on the beach to travel. It takes you from one end of the beach to the other and there is tons of night life and restaurant in between, you will find everything you need on this road.
