2004 Nissan Frontier OWNER RATINGS & REVIEWS
Austin, Texas
The little pickup that could.
So if you're in the market for a quarter ton, I personally think that you need to look no further than for the Nissan frontier. There are several versions, but for right now I'm going to tell you about the very basic package. This model I have is a bit of an older one, coming from 2004, but 16 years after its manufacture, its still kicking with next to no issues. Like I said, I have the basic model which has a 2.4L 4 banger engine, and a manual transmission, I personally have loved driving stick since I got this bad boy.

Could be better, could be worse.
The fact that they did not recall the radiator hose into the transmission was a real bummer. We lost our transmission and had to have it replaced, and it should have been a total recall by the company. The CD player is broken, and I will need to replace with an aftermarket one, when I have the money to do it. The seating is very roomy; we have a family of five and are quite comfortable. The truck bed has a good amount of room to haul some things. The seats are comfortable, and it rides nice. There is a lot of cargo room in the cab. The moon roof is a great feature, and we love it. There are two glove boxes, and I like that feature. The cab heats up very quick and cools down even quicker. The body seems to be rusting a little too quickly, but we do live in a northeastern state with a lot of salt on the roads. Four-wheel drive has been spectacular in our snowy conditions. Sometimes it does get stuck in four-wheel drive, but then you have to do the super secret trick. The tow package we got is awesome and has come in very handy. The rhino lining in the truck bed makes it easy to keep clean. The turning radius is not great, but that may be because of the four-wheel drive. Overall, I would buy this truck again.
