Nissan VersaÉbad choice
I thought this car would be a great little car to commute to and from work, but it turned out to be a lemon. The car came with a moon roof. Within nine months of having this car, the moon roof started leaking, due to the hoses clogging. I would have to blow out the hoses and have had to, to this day, every three to four months. This car has the CVT transmission. I thought it was good for the first 50,000 miles, but then started having various problems with it. I ended up replacing the transmission in it at 105,000 miles. Since I put in a new one, it has run better. The interior on this car is poorly constructed. I've had pieces of the interior crack and fall off, to the point where the only way to fix this is to buy new parts from Nissan. The stereo has a six CD player in it. Discs get stuck in the player, and I have to use little tricks to pull them out. The original car came with Continental tires, which lasted about 40,000 miles. They were not great tires. The car does get about 30 miles per gallon, unless you speed...then it goes down to about 28 miles per gallon. The outer car continues to look nice, which is the high point of this car. I've had a few blowouts with this car, and it's difficult to find actual metal under the car to jack it up. It always seems to be a struggle when I need to change a tire.

Reliable car and budget friendly
I bought this car primarily as a way to commute to work. I needed something reliable, with good gas mileage, and relatively inexpensive for a newer car. This car has satisfied all of my needs. It doesn't have many frills and lacks superior handling but its a great way to get from point A to point B. I own the sedan version, and the interior space is rather large for the size of the vehicle. The trunk space is also impressive. I would recommend this to college students or anyone needing a budget friendly vehicle and aren't overly concerned with owning a car for status or performance.

I don't know that I would say it's the best. It's just one of the largest in the area.
