There is a reason Olds is no longer in production.
There is a reason Oldsmobile is no longer in production. The 2001 Aurora, although a relatively comfortable granny car on the inside and moderately streamlined on the outside, has a lot of quirks. The heater hose is spliced. The battery is under the passenger-side back seat. The digital computer readout on the dash will not reset after a service. The car is not comfortable for a very tall (6'4") person.

Overall, I am very pleased with my Oldsmobile Aurora. Most of my complaints about the vehicle stem from the fact that it's very old and has slowly started to deteriorate in quality. The previous owner wasn't especially careful with it, and there were problems that eventually started to crop up. If I were given the opportunity to buy another variant of this vehicle that had a better ownership history or was slightly newer, I would definitely consider purchasing it again.
