I love this van!
I bought this used with over 100,000 miles on it and it is still going strong. It is built to last. There are plenty of airbags so I feel like my children are safe. The fact that it is so long means my husband is able to fit the lumber he has to buy in it without having to get a truck to bring his lumber home. It is a very comfortable vehicle with lots of room for passengers and all our gear.

Mini Van with Maxi Comfort
The Oldsmobile Silhouette mini van has been referred to as the Cadillac of mini vans. It's comfortable ride, optional and easy to remove seating easily holds 8 people and a multitude of cargo; even more with the addition of luggage racks on top, and towing package behind. It is the perfect vehicle for a day or a week at the beach, with the included air hose and inflation station in the back. With dual air and radio with headphones for the back seat passengers, it will provide an oasis for the driver as well. Great gas mileage, easy to locate controls, and plenty of space make this a wonderful choice for a family and their pets. Side doors slide open on both sides, with one being accessed by an electronic button opener help with ease in loading and unloading. A V6 engine and automatic skid adjustment help this vehicle stay safely on the road and give it the power to handle all weather and manner of terrain. There have been other more current vans on the road, but the consensus of people who have driven this vehicle is that it is so well made, they don't need to trade up. This mini van is a model that has seen upwards of 200,000 miles, and requires very few major overhauls in engine repair. A good choice for anyone who needs to travel in comfort and with ample space.

So good I bought 2!
I absolutely love my Oldsmobile Silhouette GL extended mini van. I first purchased one 4 years ago and then when I found another on the internet I purchased another. Both were not new but both had been well taken care of. I find that regular maintenance is easy to stay on top of because of the popularity of the vehicle. Parts (when necessary) are easy to find on the secondary market. Every mechanic I've taken them to have been impressed with how little they have seen of these vehicles in their shops. The interior material is quite sturdy, both vehicles have no rips or tears in the upholstery. We do not baby these vans, they are our full time commuters and we both agree, we cannot think of anything we don't like about them.
