Dependable small vehicle for your money
The build quality of the Pontiac G5 is pretty solid. There aren't very many interior rattles but there are definitely a few noticeable sounds - nothing too loud. I have personally put about 50,000 miles on the car and aside from needing oil changes, and alignment, and tires/wipers/brakes, I have yet to experience a single serious issue with the car. The interior materials are decent quality but, next to a nicer car like the new Ford Focus it doesn't really compare. It also hasn't really deteriorated anywhere in the car so I'd say that's a plus. The antennae of the car is a little loose but that could be a personal issue. Reliable, relatively comfortable, great mileage, and decent legroom. There is an issue electronically with the tire pressure sensors but all I have to do is manually check it with a tire gauge.

Nightmare on wheels.
This car brings me to college just fine, allowing me to navigate the freeway with ease yet I can never get myself to like it. It's low quality and unreliable, and as a tech person, it saddens me that there is barely any tech included other than a radio. It looks like garbage and I treat it like garbage. It's driven about 100000 miles and has broken down almost as many times (see cons). Fuel economy is on par with most sedans but it really doesn't matter because gas is so cheap. I don't notice it but others who ride with me claim that the seats are too hard. The car was marketed as a sports car and I'm pretty sure lack of quality was covered up with a 'performance' title (i.e. performance seats).
