My quad cab model is an absolute beast of an animal, in other words it has a lot of power. I love how much cargo it can hold. This year I have been renovating our house for sale and it has carried everything I need it to. There have been no trips to the hardware store where it has failed to do what I need it to. That was one of the many pros about the Ram 1500 2016 model. One of the few cons, which I was sad to find, was the start system failed and I had to have it towed to the dealership and pay $600 to fix it... including the tow. But the good outweighs the bad. Another pro is that it can carry a lot of weight. For one part of the renovation to my house I had to haul 2,000 pounds of bricks. The truck did not slow down from the weight at all. It was like a 1/2 a inch down, but that was to be expected. The V6 engine had enough power to do anything I wanted. I don't tow a lot of stuff, but it did it smoother than what I was expecting when I did tow and with no drop in power.

Ram 1500
When I first got the truck 300 miles from Central Colorado to Southern Wyoming, my rear brakes starting squealing with moderate to heavy braking. Also when first pulling out in the morning for the first time, it moves, but it makes this god-awful rubbing noise. Always makes the horrible noise in reverse, however. This problem still at 20,000 miles, hasn't been fixed at all from three different dealers I've gone too, and it's really loud and annoying. I noticed that the leather on the steering wheel at the bottom wasn't lined up on the bottom. It's something small but it bothered me. I mentioned this to the dealer and they did nothing about it. (We'll come back to the steering wheel in a while) Also, the top center storage compartment squeaked when opening, closing and putting any weight on it. Dealer applied some kind of lubricant and it fixed the problem, till recently (I think the cold did it) and it started again. Also, like all three other Ram trucks I've owned and bought new. I had to get an alignment at 2,300 miles. I was on a dirt road and hit a bump hard. Got this message on the gauge display "Active Tuned Mass Module Temporarily Unavailable" this continued for about three days and came up every 30 minutes on the dot. Dealer found that I broke the motor inside of the drive side module and replaced it.

Piece of trash
It's broken all the time, and it smells gross. The engine seemed like it was going to break down too.
