Good value.
The Saturn Ion preforms remarkably well. It's easy on the gas budget. It is a smaller car, but actually, there is a surprising amount of trunk space. Not much maintenance has had to have been preformed in the years that I've owned the car. I put a lot of miles on each way, and it keeps chugging along. Surprising amount of trunk space. For somebody who hunts and fishes, you'll be able to take your day's game home short of an elk. Not a great amount of power in the accelerator, but I did not expect there to be. I find the cartridge oil filter kind of annoying, but I can get past that. My vehicle did not come with power windows. I can get past that. The cabin stays pretty quiet. All being said, this is a pretty decent ride at a good price with exceptional gas mileage and good reliability -- if you keep up with your standard maintenance. I do believe GM made a mistake getting rid of a number of brands, including Saturn.

2004 Saturn Ion Coupe with 135,000 miles on it, currently. It's a comfortable little car that you can easily hop into and run a few errands around town. It's sporty looking enough to where even though it is 15 years old, it still fits in with the modern look of newer cars on the road. It reminds me of the Defiant on Star Trek, a tough little car that has a personality.
