The car is great for running around doing errands and picking up kids, driving to work and back. With the 2.2 liter motor you don't have to worry about the head gaskets getting blown out like you do on the 2.5s, and you still have decent amount of power to get to where you are going. There's plenty of room in the front and the seats are high enough that you don't feel like you are sinking in the car to be swallowed up. In the back there isn't as much room. You wouldn't want to stuff three grown adults back there for any length time unless you wanted one of them to get murdered. The trunk does have a decent amount of room, but if you are expecting the same amount of room as the regular Outback you will be disappointed. Overall, I do like this car as it has the safety of a Subaru without the expected costs of blown head gaskets.

This vehicle has over 75,000 miles on it, and it is 7 years old. I have had no significant problems with it. The seats have held up well over time with little stains and no tears. The other interior fabric and materials like the dashboard and the inside of the doors are easily cleanable and have no nicks, scratches, or dents in them. The exterior of the car is reasonably maintained and old has a few wear and tear marks. There is little rust, despite the age of the car. This car gets excellent car mileage, more than any car I've ever had. The Bluetooth radio is an exceptional trait of the car. I enjoy being able to play music from my phone without having to plug it into the aux. The hatchback is perfect for traveling as it allows for more space in the trunk and is a great place for a traveling dog to sit! The sun roof and heated seats are also a great quality to have in a car. This car is perfect for trekking up and down mountains and in snow with the all-wheel drive. This is something that I look for in a car and appreciate about Subarus.
