2012 Toyota Sienna OWNER RATINGS & REVIEWS
Santa Cruz, California
Better than expected.
I had a Mazda MPV van for many years and was very reticent to let it go. However, the old girl was on her last legs and it was time to move on. When I looked at the new Mazda offerings, I did not like them. I decided, on a pure whim, to go to a Toyota dealership and look at a Toyota Sienna. It was love at first sight.
Now, bear in mind that I walked away from 50+vehicles sold by private owners, used car lots and dealerships prior to going to the Toyota dealership, so I was not an easy mark.
Sienna was tucked in the corner of the lot, gleaming white and ready for that test drive. Wow, she got around town so easily. She mounted the freeway on-ramp quickly and I was able to parallel park her without an issue utilizing the nifty back camera (which I had never had in a vehicle before).
The dealership said I could return the vehicle and get another one if I did not like it after a test period. So, why not? Well, I made the right decision to move forward and buy it.
I load her up with all the things I need to haul and there's always extra room. I feel a strong bond with this van.

The perfect family car
Visually compared to other minivans, this one can't be beat. It has softer curves in the body style, not harsh, bulky and dated like some of the others on the market. There is so much cargo space, with the ability to lay the seats down in the back for added space when needed- perfect for a family. The bucket seats in the middle row are perfect for our two kids- comfortable, with space between so no fighting for space or territory.

Awesome for my family
When our family grew to five and we got this minivan, it was perfect for us. The safety rating mattered a lot, and less road noise is really good. The 8th seat option makes taking friends along a breeze and the trunk space is awesome for our warehouse stock up grocery trips. Even with 2 car seats and a booster, feels like we have enough space and it's not totally occupied. The seats are also easy to move on track; the 8th seat is very easy to put in and take out. And the back seat can be folded down to the floor very easily even by someone who is not a very handy like me. I am on the shorter side, so the automatic trunk close button is a boon instead of making little jumps to pull the trunk door down. The gas mileage that we get is a plus, too.
