Best Truck Ever
The 1998 Dodge Ram 2500 Quad Cab 4 WD with an 8 foot bed has been the best truck I have ever owned. The Cummins Diesel 6 Cylinder 24 valve engine has never missed, always started, and run better than I ever expected. The body work has always been sound, paint never peeled, and the finish has always remained clear and bright. This was a factory direct order truck, as these options were not common on any dealer's showroom.

2011 Dodge Ram 2500
I bought my 2011 Dodge Ram 2500 with 6500 miles on it in 2014. I have the Laramie package which includes heated and cooled seats, heated steering wheel, reverse camera, all leather interior, premium sound, etc. My first impressions were that this is a beautiful truck. It has the high output Cummins diesel, which was a requirement for me. 4 Doors and a long bed were also a requirement, and I was able to find that with this truck. I like the power, the comfort, the amenities, and the fact that it is a large diesel truck. There aren't too many things that I dislike about it. It came with factory tube steps/running boards. There is a bracket in the middle of them, and it came loose on the passenger's side. You can certainly tell something isn't right when you step on it, and it rattles every now and then. Another thing I find somewhat annoying is the A pillars create a blind spot, especially on the passenger side. It will block out entire cars and you'll find yourself pulling out in front of people. Performance is good overall. Towing ability is great and more than enough for what I'll need. It is a solid axle heavy duty truck, so it doesn't ride like a Cadillac, but I didn't expect it too. For a truck, the ride is pretty smooth and fairly good overall. The EPA requires more strict emissions controls on diesel engines after 2006, and they hurt the overall performance of the truck. There is a DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) that collects the suit produced by combustion. This filter gets full and needs to go through a regeneration, and the only way to do that is to add more fuel and burn out the suit. This significantly decreases fuel mileage. People do modifications that allow the vehicle to operate more efficiently, and I highly recommend that. Overall it's a great truck and I would recommend it to someone looking for a very capable heavy duty truck.

Ram 2500 Supercab
This is a strong diesel truck. Truck is a powerhouse with all the luxuries that you could want. The connect stereo system is great on how it integrates all systems in the truck into one panel. Having backup sensors and alarms helps with backing up to trailers and making sure nobody is in your blind spot. The seats are comfortable, they are both heated and cooled. Fully power with lumbar support. Split bench with ability to lift center console so you can fit 3 in the front seat. Back seat is a bench to fit 3, but has a fold down arm rest with cup holders. When towing my travel trailer, life is good. It has fold out trailer mirrors so I can see better. Built in brake controller that some how tests my brakes. Also has built in Jake brake so you are not burning up your brakes stopping or going down a hill. This was the first year they also included the dash Evic. It is a single screen on the cluster that displays all important information. Items like oil change, fuel filter change intervals. Tire pressures, fuel econ. Everything you would need to know.
