A solid car with a solid ride
The Chevrolet Impala has always been dependable for my family. With features to accommodate trending technology and cargo needs, this vehicle can get it done. The car ages well overall and has enough power to do what I need it to do. Storage space is never really an issue. Passengers are more than comfortable with climate controlled cabins and stable ride.

A decent buy if it's cheap enough
There's a lot to be said about cars. The specific one in question would be my 2004 Chevrolet Impala. It's a nice car with a rather distinguished look to it. There's plenty of room in the front and back for passengers (seating three other people—besides the driver—isn't such a bad time, it's roomy enough for it). It's also got decent gas mileage, that's kind of a win in my book, right? Well, I would say that if it didn't dramatically decrease when you use the A/C and the heater. That happens with a lot of cars, so it's forgivable. The build quality seems to be pretty standard for a GM car. Not the sturdiest but it isn't cheap junk. The built-in sound system actually sounds really nice (nice equalization options too, makes it sound almost like my studio monitor system). There are other problems that turn me off from this car. I did quite a bit of research. My windows stopped working as I got it, which should be an easy fix, right? Wrong. I still haven't been able to fix it. Driving in rain is really loud in this car, if you drive over a puddle, you can't really hear your radio. I did discover the problem so I may try that again. It's a common problem among these cars, as I've read. Again, it's fixable so I don't mind too much, but it does require a special spray. Another thing I read about these cars, the engines specifically, is that they die fairly easily around 130k miles, no matter how well you maintain them. That hasn't been a problem so far with mine at about 260k miles (though I feel it's on its last legs now). As for now though, it's a great car that gets me from point A to point B. I've even used the decently sized trunk it has to bring audio equipment, guitars, and drums to a friend's house to record.
