Chevy Malibu - style over substance
This has been a wonderfully roomy car with a nice smooth ride for many years, but she's a finicky one. Why I love my car to death it has had no end of head-scratcher problems. During the winter time the fuel gage floats all over the place, and if I fill up the tank all the way, the gauge will say full for a few miles and then immediately say empty. It's really expensive to fix, so I've just been filling the tank up three quarters of the way to keep it from happening! Also, the set up of the brakes, no matter who I take my car to, to get the brakes and brake pads replaced they're always super noisy and squeaky like an old wheel barrow, and nobody has an explanation! All that said, I've never had my car break down, or any major negative issues. Just the bizarre kind.

Great car!
I love this car. This is the second Malibu I've owned and I like this one even more than the last. First of all, the gas mileage is exceptional for such a roomy car. I love the exterior style and the interior looks expensive with the two-tone color scheme. The car has 30,000 miles and so far no noises or rattles in the car. The trunk is roomy and holds tons of luggage for vacations. I keep a full sized cooler in it at all times for grocery store trips and I can shop all day and still have room in the trunk. OnStar and wifi are standard on this car and I enjoy the power seats, power windows and door locks and the shiftable transmission. I like the wide stance of the car, smooth ride and it does very well in the snow. The tires are a reasonable size which makes tire purchases more affordable than shopping for the 17 or 18 inch tires. The only complaint I have is that the car has an intermittent issue with blowing hot air out of the defroster at random times. The service department hasn't been able to duplicate it and so they can't fix it until they find the problem. I look forward to driving this car many more years to come.

Worst-built sedan ever
The 2006 Chevy Malibu that I owned had to be one of the worst-built cars I have ever driven. The car felt so loose that I was always worried that it would fall apart at any moment. The car had a ton of sway to it when it drove. Whenever I went around a corner, for its size and build quality, the car had way to much power. I always felt that the car was going to get ahead of itself. I was never sure if the car was just built poorly or if it needed better parts. I did not want to spend the money to upgrade it.
