Used 2009 Dodge Caliber for Sale

Overall, this is a good, reliable vehicle. It drives smoothly and has decent gas mileage. The included features in mine make it comfortable and more accommodating. I did expect it to have more hauling capacity, but it is fairly adequate. It is definitely a car, not an SUV. I believe it is listed as a crossover but I would classify it as a large car in terms of storage and capacity. It seats 5, but really 4 comfortably.

While this car is good enough for getting from Point A to Point B, it isn't a car I'd recommend to others. The seats are extremely uncomfortable. If you are someone that has to drive a lot, you will quickly notice how it is nearly impossible to get the seat situated in a way that doesn't have a negative impact on your back. Though I haven't had any major problems with it, minor issues started happening as soon as I was over the warranty mileage.

Overall, I am very happy with this car. I had a model two years older and upgraded once the warranty was up. The car came with a lifetime powertrain warranty, which has saved me several thousand dollars in repairs so far. I haven’t needed a significant number of repairs overall, and those I have needed have only come in the past few years when the car wear nearing the 100,000 mile mark. It has a lot of features I really like, including its size, the interior space, interior storage, and relatively good gas mileage. There have been some negatives, including ongoing problems with the sunroof leaking and a faulty tail lights. I am pretty sad that they discontinued this model and would certainly buy one again or one similar to it when the time comes for a new car. I have also been satisfied overall with Dodge and their service and will definitely consider buying another Dodge the next time I am in the market for a new vehicle. I have used a number of dealers for service in several states, and for the most part, they have been great.
