I really felt like I was a valued customer here. The salesperson working with me was friendly and informative. The owner of the dealership worked with me as well and, since this was my first car, the owner was willing to lower the price a bit more for me. On top of this, the dealership also provides auto-repair services and can fit me into their schedule very quickly. They also provide free state inspections which was an added bonus.

Get a suspension tune-up! Get good tires, have eyes like hawk and good response time with hand/eye coordination so you are able to maneuver through all the holes in this town. Seriously, it's really bad and something needs to be done. I've never seen such bad roads!
If you are buying new, there's not much to know. If you are purchasing from a used car dealership, however; you might want to have someone knowledgeable and well versed in vehicles and what's under the hood. I say this, because, some dealerships here will nickel and dime you. Aside from the lemon sellers prevalent here, the used cars are usually on their last leg as a result of the harsh conditions here. In the Winter, salt is slathered all over the roads to prevent ice. Salt can do some serious damage to a vehicle over time. Winter and very wet Spring and Summer seasons here can contribute to a lot of body rust on cars. Potholes have most definitely taken a toll on every car in the area. Suspension and alignment will absolutely need to be adjusted upon purchase of your used car.
My favorite memory driving in my hometown are days and nights spent doing nothing but driving up and down the "Main strip", back and forth, just joy riding. Sometimes stopping to pick up another friend and dropping one off here or there. Sometimes, you would see a friend you dropped off, riding in another car and we'd all make a big deal out of it by honking and waving. I miss the good old days. Sometimes driving the outskirts of the city, on our favorite old dirt roads was included in our joy rides. I can think of 3 roads right off the top of my head; Mohawk Ave, Morrison Run and Brown Run. Those were our favorite. How I miss the good old days!
Conewango Avenue. It's the one spot in town that was finally cared for properly. It's that kind of road that's brand new, real black and smooth, no holes. The rest of the town really needs a makeover, too. That's probably the thing I dislike most about driving here. Holes galore!! The kind of big holes that make you want to charge the city for your car upkeep bills. Later on down Conewango, it starts to get real rough and bumpy again, but, for the most part and especially at the very beginning and toward the middle of the length of the road, it's a good one to drive on.

Especially, if you visit in Winter time, it is not pleasant to drive, it is because it is well known for tons of snow in winter. One time, Erie was the most snowy city in the nation over 100000 population city. One tip for the winter drive is you need to have snow tires equipped in order to drive smoothly. Except that, Erie is pleasant to live, there is very famous Presque isle which is a peninsular deep into the Erie Lake which is one of the great lakes. It would be recommendable to drive along the Presque isle road.
Yes, there are lots of dealers here in Erie. People are nice here. I would recommend, first find the good reviews from Google. Or you can ask close friends. I usually depend on Google search since I do not have many family here.
Erie is nice place to live. Its county population is about 300000 people. I love to drive in Erie, where my family live and my work place near he City of Erie. Especially Erie Sunset is very famous in the nation. My memorable driving experience, when my relative came from oversee I drove the van, and all of passengers witnessed beautiful Sunset from the car. It was very nice to watch Sunset from the spacious car.
Peach Street, Erie. It is Peach street, first when I work in the U.S. I heard Shopping malls at Peach street, Erie, PA. After getting a job near Erie, all of my family moved to Erie. Along the peach street, there are lots of shopping malls. From the moving day, peach street is my favorite street, it is also my commute street as well. There is Sears, JC Penny and Best Buy and Wal-Mart all shopping stores located along the Peach street. This street is so famous near states, from New York state and Ohio state residents frequently visit.
