Ford Explorer Usados en Venta

I like the Explorer pretty well, it's the first SUV I've owned and I wouldn't go back to driving a small car after my experience. I like how it handles but it's had to have a lot of work since I've gotten it, which is to be expected from driving it about 100,000 miles since it was purchased and most through no fault of how it was made (ea.. A toddler shoved a pencil into the air conditioner vents and I needed to fix it so it would change from a/c to heat again). I would like some work done to the interior, updating the stereo system, etc. The air conditioner vent has been lose and won't stay in position since I've gotten it. When I was looking to buy the car I test drove another Explorer and ultimately decided to get the one I got because of a large crack on the back of the other one. Soon after purchasing this one a large crack in the same spot appeared and I've found out it was a weakness common in Explorers. I've driven it often, and take it with me when I go hiking and it's always did great with the right maintenance.

This vehicle that I have is a very dependable vehicle. I bought it as just a way to get around basically but even though it has more than 200,000 miles and I've put around 15,000 miles on it, it still runs great. I've done a lot of maintenance on small things but the main things, such as the engine, have yet to give me problems. You can comfortably fit 5 people in there with lots of room for everyone.

I really love this SUV! It has been a very reliable vehicle, with very little maintenance issues over the years. This car has so much room, both in the front and middle passenger sections, as well as the back "trunk" space. Plenty of room to move lots of stuff. I have moved apartments in my SUV a few times and have gotten way more than expected into the car each time. It's a great car for road trips and not really that bad on gas mileage! Yes, it's more expensive to fill than smaller cars, but all in all I get great gas mileage. I enjoy that you don't have bad blind spots and see practically everything from the drivers seat without trouble. I love the acceleration, braking and handling of the car, plenty of power for me and lots of control. My biggest criteria for a vehicle is feeling safe. I wouldn't drive anything that doesn't ride high and have lots of car around me. For this reason I'd say the Explorer's biggest selling point for me is the fact that I feel incredibly safe while driving. Over all, I would easily buy another Explorer, or at least another SUV next time. I do enjoy the Explorer though, so it would be a car I'd replace with the same model every time.
