Excellent Passenger Van
This is a very comfortable vehicle. Room for seven passengers total with no cramped legs or arms stuck in your sides! Large cargo space in the rear provides plenty of room for luggage, sports equipment, or groceries.
Gives a comfortable and smooth ride. Exceptionally low gas mileage for a larger vehicle. High quality audio components give that stereo sound your kids will love!! There is literally nothing I don't like about this van!

An Excellent Family Vehicle
I bought my 2002 Ford Windstar van used. It had 150,000 miles on it, and in the two years I have owned it, I put another 45,000 miles on it. For the first year, I used the van to deliver pizzas, and I drove it quite a bit. The van has never needed any major repairs. I've had to keep on the oil changes and replace the tires twice and brakes three times. I Also needed to replace the gaskets on the intake manifold in order to get the van to pass inspection this year, because apparently this model of vehicle has a common problem with the gaskets wearing out, allowing the system to become too lean (too much air is allowed to enter the air/fuel mix going to the engine). Other than this relatively minor and fairly inexpensive job, I've had no complaints about the performance of the van. As for design - well, I have two children and four nephews, and I have been able to carry myself, my wife, and all six children comfortably to parks and outings! It's a perfect family vehicle - lots of room and great Ford performance.

Long-life reliability
This vehicle was bought used and driven several more years. with only minimal, routine maintenance required. All in all, the cost of maintaining the vehicle was low. Fuel mileage was satisfactory. The vehicle performed well in city driving, as well as long-distance highway travel. Acceleration was dependable and predictable, which is important in heavy city traffic. Because the Windstar was relatively high off the ground, as compared to many passenger cars, it was a pleasure to drive, as well as being safer, because it was possible to see more of what lay ahead on the road. Being a mini-van, with windows in the storage/third-seat area and back, as well as front and second seat areas, it was possible to see more of what lay beside and behind the vehicle, which were good safety and enjoyment features.
