Used Ford Contour for Sale

The used vehicle I own is a 1999 Ford Contour. At the time of purchase, I was pleased to see that there was no damage on the outside. The inside was a little dirty, but it had been owned by another with children at a low price of $500. All the needed functions to operate the vehicle worked properly. I was concerned with the mileage on the odometer being over 100,000. Living in a rural area there is a need to travel long distances. There was a spare tire included. When test driving it, there were no problems at all. Which made it easier to decide to purchase the car. A dislike was that there was no heat or air working. I did like that the trunk size was big and would fit a lot of groceries for example. I mainly wanted to have a vehicle that would get me to and from work. Also, with very little to repair needed. I did not care for the color, which was maroon. It wound up being what I needed.

This was nice car. The vehicle performed well. The quality was good. It had quality parts.

I bought my Contour outright for under $2k and at 96k miles. Seems almost too good to be true, right? It was one of those very rare deals you come across on Craigslist if you're scrupulous enough. Sure, the wipers were old and the air filter was disgusting, but those were easy fixes. Though this car is not the flashiest thing ever, I cannot praise its fuel economy enough. I regularly get 200+ miles to the tank, even more on the highway. It's also a very comfortable ride. As long as I maintain it, I feel very safe driving it. It's a wonderful commuter/daily driver if you're not too much into aesthetics.
