Lacey the Sport Trac
The thing I like the best about my Sport Trac is that I have the versatility of a truck and the seating room of a sedan. I love the bounce of a truck and the ability to haul stuff. The room makes it easy to cart my grandbabies around. The engine is quieter than I would expect on a truck of this age, but I also have an excellent mechanic. I like that the Ford is American made and affordable and safe. The only thing I dislike is as a woman, I am small and wish that the Sport Trac had the extendable foot pedals as my Mercury Sable did. I looked for two years for a jeep that fit all my preferences and budget and never found one. When I first considered the Sport Trac I was posed to dislike it, because it was not a jeep.... I was remarkably surprised at how comfortable it was to drive. The performance I have experienced as I have driven over the mountains and back repeatedly in the past year is amazing. The only problems I have had out of this truck was due to lack of care by previous owners

Great mid-size truck!
The Ford Explorer Sport Trac is a very reliable truck, from my experience. I get better gas mileage than expected (though still not great - it's a truck, after all) and the ride is very, very smooth. The inside has a ton of space for people and cargo. Also, I just like the general shape and look of the curves of the vehicle from the outside. The suspension feels a bit off, and makes loud rattles when going over speed bumps. Otherwise, the vehicle is in tip-top shape after 83k miles driven.

I have had this vehicle since I was 17 years old. I purchased it used so it did have some minor flaws. I have driven it over 150,000 miles since I started driving it. It now has a total of over 250,000 miles on it. I did have to replace the interior of the car because the previous owner smoked. It has come with its fair share of problems, most of which coming from a neglectful previous owner. It does have a major problem with alignment, causing me to get new tires more often than I should. I plan to buy a new car in the near future. This truck is "on its last legs" as I would say. It drives very well but does sometimes have trouble with changing gears or speeding up very quickly. I wouldn't call it a reliable car, just one that can get you from point A to point B. Although it has its problems, I love my car.
