My Perfect Car
I wanted a car that fit me and was fun to drive. My 2005 Torch Red Anniversary Edition Thunderbird Bird was the perfect match. I bought it used, with about 73,000 miles on it. It was in great condition, though I did have to buy new tires.
This T-Bird is a small but powerful car. I'm 5'1" and the car fits me well. There's not a lot of headroom. If you're big and tall, you may have to fold up a bit to get into the driver seat!
The car pays homage to the original 1950's Thunderbird. The seats are black and red leather, the design is sleek. Fast forward to 2005, and this car was ahead of its time in amenities. It has heated seats, satellite radio, an alarm system, and a fantastic sound system. My car has a removable hard top, and a fold-away soft top. The battery is in the trunk as easy to get to.
The 2005 Thunderbird was designed more as a luxury car than a sports car. But it's no slouch in the speed and handling department. Zero to 60 mph in 6 seconds, thanks to the 8-cylinder Jaguar engine. And the ride is smooooth. It's low to the ground and hugs the road. I took a friend for a ride on the Interstate and she couldn't even tell when we were moving at 100 mph for a few moments. Smooooth!
This car is a collectible, and will hold its value over the coming years.

Ford Taurus is a great car
I own a 2005 white Ford Taurus. It is a car that is pleasant to drive. It is very smooth on the road. My brother has a Porsche and it is smoother than it on the road. The style is nice. I just drove it out of town this past week and the gas mileage on the interstate was phenomenal! My sister asked if the gas gauge was working because she thought it was unbelievable. So we stopped and filled up what was used just to confirm it that it was working. And it was!

. it was terrible
Single owner family vehicle. 1992 model ford t-bird xl. Beautiful interior but absolutely terrible vehicle. V6, automatic, blue interior, black stripe down the side. Automatic locks, air conditioning, power steering, tape deck, (yes, tape deck).
There was an overdrive feature on this model that was a separate gear. It was what allowed your vehicle to transition up into the higher gears. Without it basically your car was stuck going 45mph. So the transmission on this one blew at 80,000. Put it into the shot, fixed it right up. Drove it less than a week when a rod came loose and started slamming into the engine head so needless to say the engine blew at 90,000. At that point I sold the heap of junk on a garage sale for less than a grand.
