My Perfect Car
I wanted a car that fit me and was fun to drive. My 2005 Torch Red Anniversary Edition Thunderbird Bird was the perfect match. I bought it used, with about 73,000 miles on it. It was in great condition, though I did have to buy new tires.
This T-Bird is a small but powerful car. I'm 5'1" and the car fits me well. There's not a lot of headroom. If you're big and tall, you may have to fold up a bit to get into the driver seat!
The car pays homage to the original 1950's Thunderbird. The seats are black and red leather, the design is sleek. Fast forward to 2005, and this car was ahead of its time in amenities. It has heated seats, satellite radio, an alarm system, and a fantastic sound system. My car has a removable hard top, and a fold-away soft top. The battery is in the trunk as easy to get to.
The 2005 Thunderbird was designed more as a luxury car than a sports car. But it's no slouch in the speed and handling department. Zero to 60 mph in 6 seconds, thanks to the 8-cylinder Jaguar engine. And the ride is smooooth. It's low to the ground and hugs the road. I took a friend for a ride on the Interstate and she couldn't even tell when we were moving at 100 mph for a few moments. Smooooth!
This car is a collectible, and will hold its value over the coming years.

Ford Taurus is a great car
I own a 2005 white Ford Taurus. It is a car that is pleasant to drive. It is very smooth on the road. My brother has a Porsche and it is smoother than it on the road. The style is nice. I just drove it out of town this past week and the gas mileage on the interstate was phenomenal! My sister asked if the gas gauge was working because she thought it was unbelievable. So we stopped and filled up what was used just to confirm it that it was working. And it was!

The Fabulous Thunderchicken!
My Ford Thunderbird was a short lived car that existed only to get me from point A to point B with the maximum amount of shame and embarrassment. This thing was the very definition of a granny car. It was completely lacking in any kind of aesthetic appeal- I felt like I was driving the Goodyear Blimp down the street. The handling was rough. Trying to make turns was about as easy as convincing a cow to break dance. The brakes were good, and I did feel safe in the car- mostly because I couldn't get it to drag it's overly large frame around at more than 60 miles an hour. The gas mileage was horrible, the seats were uncomfortable...this car was my punishment for being a college student I'm sure.
