Love My Sport!
This vehicle has been one of my all time favorite vehicles I've owned. It is a midsize SUV, has plenty of room for hauling around what you need while still getting great MPG (usually 25mpg). While many SUVs feel top heavy and unstable during travel, the Ford Explorer Sport is tight and easy to drive. It has a comfortable interior, great get up and go when you need it (6 cylinder) and is always one of the best looking vehicles in the lot! The A/C keeps the vehicle cool all the way to the back and the rear seats lay flat to give even more options for hauling etc.

The Ford Explorer is a great vehicle.
This SUV is really reliable. I drove it on many road trips to surrounding states without any problems. It has a sensor on the rearview mirror for the lights. You can adjust how long you want the lights to stay on after you shut the door. The headlights automatically turn off and on. It has a keyless entry. There is a roof rack and a built in hitch with the electrical plugs. You can very easily hook up that trailer to go out riding, take a trip to the dump, go camping, or off roading. It has four-wheel drive. There is plenty of leg room for passengers in the backseat. The driver's seat has the option of moving forward, backward, up, down, and has a lower back support pump. There are cupholders in the front and the back. The backseat passengers also have their own heating and air controls, as well as access to changing the radio station controls. The vehicle come with a wheel lock so no one can steal your tires. There is a back windshield wiper with a sprayer.

A Solid Mid Sized SUV
I needed a larger SUV to carry all my outdoor gear and chose a 2012 Ford Explorer. I had an old model back in the 1990s and wanted to see how it compared to the newer model.
I have not been disappointed with the 2012 Ford Explorer. It has had no mechanical problems so far and has fully met my outdoor needs. The interior is big enough to fit a bunch of fishing rods, coolers and sleeping bags. It is good on the pavement and good enough on dirt roads. The driving position and front seat space is ample enough for this 6'3" man.
The steering and handling are not as good as a car, but not bad given the size of the vehicle. Because I purchased the V6 model, the gas mileage is only adequate. The V4 model probably would have been a better choice because it has enough power and better fuel economy. All in all it is a much better vehicle than my original 1990s model and does all the same outdoorsy things at least as good as its predecessor.
