Used Ford Explorer Sport for Sale

This vehicle has 4 wheel drive and running boards which were standard. Two door model luggage rack and rear windshield wiper. This vehicle also has power windows and power seats, plus keyless entry system on the drivers side door. The Ford Explorer Sport gets 20 highway and 15 city MPG which was good in 2001. I love driving this vehicle in the snow. Goes thru snow like BUTTER. I have never gotten stuck in this SUV. Very easy to shift from regular 2 wheel drive to 4 wheel drive, just flip the switch. Love the keyless entry on this vehicle, enter the code on the drivers side and it will unlock the doors. You can also look the doors this way.

Our 2014 Ford Explorer Sport has more than met our family's needs. I has enough room for a family of five and our gear. Granted, we tend to travel on the lighter side. Overall, it has been a reliable vehicle as one would expect of a three -year-old, new car. I have noticed some wear and possibly some oil leaks which have me concerned about it's long term reliability. I like the vehicle but not entirely sure it's worth the price.

Overall, the 1997 Ford Explorer is a comfortable, durable, reliable car. It is great for someone looking to take it off road or go camping in it, as it has good clearance and plenty of space to haul gear. The front seats are very comfortable and everything you could need is there. The back seats are a little tight on leg space, but the far back has plenty of room for groceries, camping gear, furniture, etc. 16 years after it was made I still have this car. It has over 200,000 miles on it and last year we replaced the engine but aside from that it has been a great vehicle.
