The car is built well and continues to allow for a quiet, comfortable and smooth driving experience, even with over 100,000 miles driven. The engine is powerful, and the car is fun to drive, because it can accelerate quite quickly when needed. It also handles surprisingly well in snowy and icy conditions. The exterior of the vehicle is very attractive and has held up well, but the interior synthetic material on the seats has cracked and has a very worn appearance. The trunk space is more than adequate and can accommodate multiple guitars, amplifiers, and other pieces of musical equipment at the same time. However, there have been repeated electrical issues with the vehicle, most notably a failure of the automatic locks. We have had issues with both doors not locking and not unlocking unless opened from the inside. All of the doors have been affected at one time or another, and the issues will seems to spontaneously resolve themselves and then appear again out of nowhere. We have also had issues with the alarm going off at random times. The frustration with the electrical issues has really overshadowed our otherwise positive experience with the car.

I like the looks of my Jetta. All the dummy lights are very useful. Large trunk is very useful for me because I am a salesman and carry a lot of samples. Mileage is very good, especially on long trips. I like the leather seats. And even more I like the fact that the seats are heated, a real plus. I haven't had any major problems in the three years that I have owned it. I am on the highway a lot so a smooth ride is very nice. The back seat is roomy enough for three kids. I think the car looks classy even though it really isn't. It is very easy to keep clean. It was fairly easy to figure out all of the gadgets. I even put in a Bluetooth Radio which I now cannot live without. I hope to drive this car until it falls apart. I then would consider getting another Jetta if I find the right deal. My wife is also very pleased with this car and is always begging me to drive it. Am thinking of getting her one eventually.

I am the owner of a 2007 Volkswagen Jetta sports edition and overall, I am very happy with the car. It drives very fast and is very fun to take out on a joyride. I have been very lucky as well, there has not been any major problems with the vehicle since I have owned it. They exterior paint has not chipped at all, the interior seats and center consul are still in great condition, and the body looks perfect. The clutch operates very smoothly and has never gotten stuck. As long as I rotate the tires frequently, the wheels and tires perform very well. The car is very small and compact, which makes it easy to park in any parking spot. Living in an area such as Los Angeles, this is absolutely essential for a vehicle! The trunk space is fairly small, and the backseat does not have as much room as I would like, especially with having two small kids. Overall I have been highly satisfied with the car, but I would not recommend it to anybody who has small children. It would be better suited for somebody who just wants a nice, sporty car to drive for fun.
