2016 Hyundai Accent OWNER RATINGS & REVIEWS
Morrow, Georgia
I love my car, as it has eco mode that I can turn on and off. The mpg gets me further than my 05 Honda Pilot. And the trunk is big enough to put a 6 person tent and sleeping bags back there.
I like the eco mode, and felt that it has saved me on gas. I like the MPG, I can make it 500 miles in 2 fill ups. I don't like that it does not have cruise control, because my foot gets tired on long drives. I do not like that there is no rear windshield wiper, because its very hard to see on the highway driving in the rain. I like the way the body looks, I feel like its a car a 21 year old would drive. I do not like how low it is to the ground, I often scrape the bottom on speed bumps and scrape the front when exiting uneven driveways. I don't like that there isn't an arm rest for the passenger side guest because they always try to use mine. I don't like that there was a lack of directions on how to use the Blue Link/Sirius XM features that came with the car. I do like the hill assist because it kicks in when I'm trying to get up a huge hill in my neighborhood. I don't like that there is no Bluetooth option because people can't hear me when I talk on speakerphone. I like the size of the trunk as I can fit a lot of things back there. It's very spacious for a compact car. It sometimes jumps when shifting gears but usually calms itself down after a few minutes. I like that the fuel tank is electric and it gives me a range of how much further I can get until my tank is empty.

Overpriced hunk of metal and plastic
I bought the Hyundai Accent on sale for $12.5K plus tax and registration last year. Thought it would be a good deal. I like the sunroof that it comes with; it makes you comfortable. I got the blue color, which is a pretty sea blue. The car interior is standard, similar to other makes. Leg room is standard, not to little, but not a whole lot. Comes with standard dash and free satellite radio for a year. The ride is dependable, comes with 50K mile guarantee, which lets you know this vehicle won't be breaking down. The ride is nice. I got the manual transmission version because manuals are easier to maintain, mechanically. This is a smooth shifting ride; I have no issues shifting. This ride is nice. I've got nothing to complain about, just overpriced though. This ride is really worth no more than eight or nine grand. This ride is expensive but dependable. It has got nice power behind it for a car that is just the standard six L 150 horsepower. I mean, this ride will make you look good if you want to impress people, but it costs too much. This should have been cheaper, especially the manual version, but it was not. Other than the price, yeah, Hyundai is a good option for dependable rides. I mean, like this ride, it makes me look rich. Better than walking or taking the bus. All in all, I like this ride. You can't go wrong investing in a Hyundai.
