As long as you do the preventive maintenance such as oil changes, transmission fluid change, antifreezes change, and change all the filters in and out, the car will run a long time without major work required on it.

This car is attractive, small, and maneuverable. The seats are very comfortable, even for long trips. There is a large amount of leg room in both the front and back seats, especially considering how small the car is overall. Additionally, the back seats fold down, allowing for a lot of space through the trunk and back seat. This car has gotten great gas mileage over the past 9 years. It has only needed routine maintenance, so one can't complain about the costs at all. It has not needed to go in the shop at all. The car runs very quietly as well. The car drives very smoothly, and its small size makes it easy to control. It offers a very safe driving experience which makes it ideal for new drivers.
