Clinking and Clunking
I have owned this vehicle for about ten years now and have hated it since day one. There are a lot of positives such as amazing gas mileage; I filled my tank every 350 miles. It was small, so easy to parallel park in cities, and had great look. However, that is where the positives end. The car performed like trash, unfortunately. It was routinely in for maintenance even only being driven 50,000 miles over all.

Reliable and great on gas.
My Volkswagen Golf was one of the best cars I've ever owned. Great gas mileage, sporty and quick. My package had heated seats which is very enjoyable here in Pennsylvania. The interior was very stylish and well laid out. Its purple and red lighted instrument panel was very attractive. It was a hatchback so it was versatile. It was a standard transmission and shifted well. I was able to easily put 200,000 miles on it as my job took me over an hour to get to. It accelerated onto the highway very well. It was also very strong as once I hit a coyote on the highway, yes a coyote, and it left hardly a scratch. The sound system was adequate as there were many speakers and CD player. The seats in the back folded down flat for more storage. I don't recall any major issues with the engine and only brakes and tires were needed during it lifetime so it was very dependable. With the front wheel drive it was pretty good in the snow too. The only negatives were it was lot really large inside, not a lot of leg room. The body was not really that stylish and sort of boxy.
