This is my puppy mobile. I load my puppy in the front seat, put on his seatbelt and hand roll down the window--and we're off. We're off for our adventure, typically hiking or to the dog park. This pickup simply makes me happy. Owned by a little old man when I bought it in 2009, it was meticulously clean. The bucket seats have no wear or tear. Cloth small checker board tan and black. With the original carpet all looked brand new. The original radio with tape deck. No holes, green paint still looked brand new, passed smog with flying colors and drives like a dream. This is my truck, and its reliable. Because it's a truck, I don't mind if I get a little dirt on it and then clean it. The long bed has a liner, and I put a doggie bed back there for longer rides. Or my bicycle. The camper shell matches too. This truck just gets regular oil changes and helps me enjoy time with my dog. The air conditioner blows cold air, and the heater blows hot. It's a great truck, and I am glad I have it. I am also glad I didn't buy like a Tacoma for 100 times more money.

The Mazda B3000 is a small truck, but it can handle the big jobs. I have used this truck to haul trailers and to move large pieces of furniture. I have not had any major mechanical issues with the truck, and it is nearing 180,000 miles. My one complaint with the truck is I wish it had more cab space. You really can fit more than two people into the truck, because the jump seats are so small.

Long lasting, very easy and inexpensive to work on.
This truck just keeps racking up the miles! It has a solid feel and build quality, runs smoothly, and requires minimal maintenance. It's easy to find parts as it's interchangeable with the popular Ford Ranger (1998 and newer). You can tell that the interior isn't made of flimsy parts, as nothing has fallen apart to this day. Unless the engine completely seizes suddenly, I should be able to keep it running for many years and just keep putting in cheap parts when and where needed. It's as hassle free as any vehicle of its age and mileage (243,000).
