Good "Ole Blue."
The Saturn SL2 was my first car. It was may car for college. It was a few years old when I received it as a gift from my mother. I used it mostly for work in the area, partying with my friends and driving up and down the coast in California.

Saturns may be old, but they are reliable!
My Saturn S-Series is over 20 years old, but with its relatively low mileage (~60k), and it's good gas mileage, it has been the perfect starter car. For one, I love that the exterior is a plastic that does not rust or scratch easily. The tan cloth seats also ensure that the car does not get too hot in the summer heat. In addition, both the heating and AC system are very powerful--it does not take very long for my car to heat up or cool down. My only complaints are that the fabric at the top of the car's interior has worn away and become shredded, and the power windows can often take a long time to roll up or down. In addition, sometimes my key can get stuck in the ignition such that I can't turn it, which can be frustrating. Another potentially negative thing is how this vehicle fairs in poor weather. Once, I was driving home at night in the snow and it was very hard to stop in intersections. I actually slid out because the brakes locked up. Due to this, I would not recommend this car in areas that face inclement weather.
