I purchased this vehicle about a year ago. I loved it from the beginning. It is a top of the line model. I have been taking it to the Acura dealer in my town for service. The dealers been great, the car didn't have any problems in the first 12 months that I owned it, despite it being a slightly older car with slightly higher miles. HOWEVER, just yesterday I my check engine light came on. I have done some research online and it seems that I might have to replace the whole turbo. I am a little disappointed with its reliability now. I had nothing but good things to say about this car until now. The interior has held up very nicely and all the tech systems work great. I have had no problems with the electronics or any superficial part of the car. Before this engine problem I have only had to replace one thing, which was an air filter, even after it got completely rechecked at its 100k tune up. Pros of this car are that it is really nice to drive. You can definitely tell you are driving a luxury car. Cons are an engine problem only 1 year after I bought it.

Excellent family car
This is an extremely comfortable car that was well thought-out in it's design. It drives superbly and has had no mechanical issues in the 130,000 miles I have driven on it. It handles well on a variety of surfaces including ice, snow, and rain and makes me feel safe when driving on these surfaces. The lie-flat turn down of the back seats allows for a large amount of space to pack or move items such as boxes, chairs, and suitcases. It also makes a large comfy space for our large dog to lie comfortably. LATCH hooks provide a safe and secure place to attach car seats. I have had some speaker issues, as several cut out periodically, but this is the only electronics issue I have had with the vehicle. The built in NAV system will get you from point a to b, but not always in the most efficient or quickest route possible.

Enjoyable to drive and reliable.
This Acura RDX performed very well over the years. With its all leather interior it has proven to be resistant to the toughest wear. I carry a lot of books and martial arts gear in the car and still have space to seat four passengers. The car drives smoothly, especially at highway speeds. The driver's seat is extremely comfortable and easily adjustable. It is a push-to-start model and is easy to use. Not having to have the key in your hand makes this a great SUV for when your hands are full. I often walk out of the house with a backpack on and my hands full of books and coffee. Being able to just pull the door open saves a lot of trouble putting stuff down and picking it back up. With approximately 70,000 miles on it, it still drives smoothly and has had no notable issues with it. I have also taken this SUV out in the snow and off road, and it still drives without flaw. The traction in the snow gives you confidence to take this SUV anywhere. I have owned Acuras in the past and have not been disappointed yet. This one is one of the better of the bunch of those cars.
