The Buick LaCrosse is a very comfortable car that easily seats five people. It has a large trunk with plenty of space which makes it great for travel. The LaCrosse is durable and reliable. It averages about 23 mpg on the highway. Regular maintenance is a must to maintain the life of the vehicle. When it is time to upgrade, I plan on purchasing another Buick but will most likely be used.

A good basic car
For a car that is now 15 years old, this car still feels like a car that is fairly modern and solid. With 187,000 miles, it still feels like it has a lot of miles to go before I have to worry about getting something else. On the other hand, this car has a lot of little minor problems that might make a lot of other drivers less than comfortable. For example, it has a lot of electronic quirks. By that I mean that it constantly flashes warning signals for nonexistent problems. I constantly get a dashboard message that my coolant is not at the proper level, the tire pressure is off, the gas cap is loose -- and this is never the case. This car's sensors are obviously malfunctioning and giving me false readings. But as long as I know that this is not a problem, it does not bother me.
Repairs have been very few, especially costly repairs. Nothing "major" has gone wrong with it, such as transmission or drive train problems. Last winter I did have a sensor burn out, which cost more than $400 to replace.
Another problem with the car is a rather dicey shocks/suspension situation -- that is, the car is a bit more "bouncy" than one would like when passing over bumps or dips in the road. This is a problem I may have to address in the future if it gets worse.
All in all, though, I feel this is a nice car that feels comfortable to drive. The construction feels generally compact and solid. Good radio, heaters, air conditioner -- all works good. In other words, its a basic car that is comfortable and pleasant to drive. It also does not look like a "junker" even though it is a 15-year-old car.

Nice and smooth Buick Lacrosse
What I like most about my car is how smooth it feels on the road when I drive. It does not feel as if I am bumping continuously like I did with my old car. While the look of the outside of the car is a little older than I would like, I do appreciate how the interior of the car looks. The leather seats are really nice and practical since they are easy to clean. The electronic components of the car are pretty nice. I especially like that the car gives me an estimate on how many more miles I can drive before I need to get more gas. The car also has rear sensors that let me know if there is something behind me as I am backing up. I do wish the car has tire pressure sensors. That is something that I miss from my old car. The gas mileage of the car is about average. It's better than my last car but not the best it could be. The car generally feels very comfortable since I can easily adjust my seat in several ways. I can make the seat higher which is nice because I am short. Sometimes my dad needs to borrow the car so that makes the seat adjustment even better since he is taller than me and doesn't need the seat to be as high. Overall, the car sounds really nice when it runs and is very smooth. The brakes work perfectly and are very response. It gets me where I need to go with no issues and I'm not too picky about things otherwise. The only thing that really bothers me is how hard I have to press on the gas pedal in order to get the car moving.
