We love our Buick Le Sabre
My husband and I bought a 2005 Buick Le Sabre car a couple of years ago. It had a little over 50,000 miles on it when we purchased it. This car has been an excellent vehicle. We have never had any kind of problem with it. It is the limited model so it has features like leather seats, heated seats, power seats, etc. It has OnStar already installed and it works well. We were able to get a three month free trial of OnStar and we enjoyed the benefits of that. We recently took this car on a 5,600 mile vacation across country (in May of 2015) and we did not have a SINGLE problem with it. We drove through desert terrain during an unexpected downpour when we could barely see, through winding Yosemite highways while it was snowing, in the nerve racking city traffic of Sacramento traffic jams, through the redwoods and all the way to the Oregon border and never, not once did we have a single issue with this car in any way. It was smooth riding, handles curvy roads well and it is very roomy. We have two teenage children and we are all tall. My daughter is the shortest at 5ft7 my son is 6'0 tall and they both sat in the back seat and had ample leg room and were very comfortable for the entire trip. I feel confident enough in my Buick Le Sabre that I wouldn't be hesitant to drive it all the way to Alaska and back. I have no doubt that it would make the trip just fine. We get good gas mileage, too. We average around 30 mpg highway. Not as great as newer vehicles but great for a car that is ten years old! We not only drove this car on a 5,600 mile trip - we CAR CAMPED on this trip. The trunk is HUGE and we were able to fit a tent, four chairs, four sleeping bags, clothing, camp stove, food... Everything we needed to camp for our 3 week trip.

Good buy
While a bit land-yacht'ish with the turns, the Le Sabre rides very well. It's got decent fuel efficiency considering its age. Lots of space for the driver and up to five passengers - two in the front, three in the back. Spacious trunk as well.

Great long term car
This is a great long term car. My husband owned this car for a long time before me, and it is still going. We have 132,000 miles on it with relatively few issues. We plan to continue to own it even when leasing a newer car. It is really good for college students and others who do not drive a lot yet need a reliable car. Within the last three years we have probably put $500 into repairs. It has worked well for small drives and long road trips. I would recommend it to anyone as a daily driver car.
