The car is often seen as an "old folk's car," but I'm 26 and love it. It's got a sleek, but practical design with an all-leather, extremely roomy interior. It's easy to tell the car was made with "luxury" in mind. It's important to maintain the car regularly, as it is with all cars, to keep it performing well. Very surprising amount of "get up and go," great features. I purchased the car used for $7000 at 130,000 miles - I did this because of the service record. The car was previously owned by an elderly man that made it a point to have his car serviced every 3 months - and it shows in the car's performance. Would definitely recommend this car to anyone seeking a comfortable, practical, luxurious driving experience.

This is a nice road trip car, but the gas it eats is not so nice. At best, I have seen it get 18 MPG city/highway driving. If I drive it to work in traffic, I see less than 15 MPG. Highway driving on a long trip (a steady few hours) I may get 28 MPG.

It has served me well over the years. No major repairs to speak of so far. I have about 65k miles on it. Great car for long cruises and road trips. Rides extremely smooth and extremely reliable it all types of weather conditions. I wish it had better gas mileage but it's not horrible considering the size. Bought it brand new and still intend on keeping a few more years since it's paid off finally. Stops on a dime turns well and is very responsible overall. The breaks work well and never had any issues when having to stop suddenly. Very roomy interior and comfortable seats even if thy do heat up in the summer if left in the sun. The looks are a bit old fashioned and we sometimes call it our old lady car but that's not a huge deal to me. Well built and has taken a beating from my dog and children but cleans up quite nicely. The steering is excellent and feels very comfortable and natural to drive. No expensive repairs just standard maintenance upkeep. I would consider buying another le sabre if the newer cars have a more modern look to them. Overall it was a good value for the money I spent. Been paid off for years and it still going strong!.
