Long-lasting luxury
I love the bronze color and the chrome trim and grill of my Buick Park Avenue. The luxury of the car can be seen and felt when you ride in it. The leather seats have held up well over the years, and the paint has stayed true to color, which says a lot about quality. It has stood up against the blistering California desert heat where I live.

Reliable and Affordable Luxury Car
I love my Buick Park Avenue, and I am sad that they are no longer made. I inherited the car from my father and it has been a wonderful vehicle for me. My car now has over 200,000 miles on it and is still going. I've had to make a couple costly repairs, but they were all worth it. My friends call it my "luxury car" because it feels so high quality when you're riding in it. The shocks and suspension system make for a really smooth ride, and the leather interior feels high class. It's also a very roomy car, making you feel like you're riding in style. The heated seats are an added bonus that just make it feel even more luxurious. One of the best features of this car is the heads up display that is great for highway and interstate driving. It will display your current speed on the windshield in front of you, so no need to look down at your gauges and get distracted. I also really appreciate the information system in this car. I have a display that tells me my average and current gas mileage, as well as a display that tells me approximately how many miles I have left in my gas tank. Unfortunately, some minor aspects of the car have not held up as long as others. The radio/stereo system went out a couple years ago, and I just haven't gotten it replaced. Also, because almost all displays in this car are digital, some of the lights have gone out, and I have been told I can't replace them. So I can no longer see what temperature my heat or air conditioning is set at, where the fans are blowing, or what setting the fans are on. I have just learned to do this by guessing and feeling. It's even harder at night when the buttons don't light up anymore so I have to go by feel and know where each button is. I also wish the gas mileage was a bit better, but it could be worse. At first, I didn't like driving such a long car because it made parallel parking a nightmare, but once I got used to the car, and with the help of the backup sensors, I am now a pro at parallel parking this car and almost any other car! The roomy backseat has come in handy several times when needing to haul things with no access to a truck. You would be amazed at what I've been able to fit back there! In general, I really love this car, and the pros definitely outweigh the cons for me. The things that haven't stood the test of time, I've learned to live without or work around. After 12 years and over 200,000 miles the car still drives wonderfully and makes me feel safe on the roads.
