A great heavy duty truck fit for any job.
The 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD is the perfect addition to any fleet. Whether you're on the job or on the road, this truck will not disappoint. This heavy-duty truck comes with rubber floor mats for jobsite protection, cloth seats, and plenty of seat and leg space for your entire crew. The 2500HD comes with a 6.0L engine that is full of power and adrenaline. It's made to haul the heaviest loads; or if you prefer, it also is classy enough to haul the family around. The cons about this truck is, if you're worried about city fuel mileage, it will disappoint. The 2500HD is a heavy duty truck, so it will ride rough. However, the suspension is heavy duty and built for the truck. This truck has performed well for me in many situations. I have taken this truck through narrow and steep mountain roads, rough dirt roads, highway pavement, cross country and more. Through all of my journeys, this truck doesn't disappoint. Another con is if you plan on driving dirt roads daily, as I did for work, you will find yourself replacing key suspension items such as shocks, tie-rod ends and control arms. As this is the base model, you won't find all the bells and whistles seen on the LT and LS models. This truck has manual roll up windows and AM/FM/CD player. The seats have manual adjustment. This truck does feature electronic locks for safety. If you're looking for luxury, this may not be the truck for you. However, if you're looking for a beast, something to get the job done and can handle the weight of a load, this is the truck that will not disappoint.

Most solid truck ever built!
I bought my 2003 Silverado during the end of 2002. My Chevy Silverado has been the most reliable and solid vehicle I have ever owned. I love the vehicle so much that I plan on driving it until the wheels literally fall off. After driving this truck 450,000 miles in the 16 years I've owned it, it has NEVER let me down. I've put minimal money in repairs and parts in the truck. The LS 6.0 engine in the 2500HD is very powerful and I use it daily for towing a heavy dump trailer. After 300,000 miles, I had a mechanic tear the engine down in this truck to add some performance parts, namely high compression pistons and a cam. After 300,000 hard miles the mechanic showed me the inside of the engine and how it still had the factory cross hatches inside the engine, meaning little to no wear! Not only has the engine been reliable, but this truck has literally been used and abused for working and has held up beyond my expectations. In my opinion, the Chevy Silverado's are the toughest and longest lasting trucks on the market.
