Reliable, zippy, spacious and fun
I bought this car used in 2003, when it had 40,000 miles on it. It now has 180,000 miles on it. I rarely had any trouble with the car, and if I did, they were minor repairs. The car is known for being ugly, but I think I've gotten used to it. The inside is standard - nothing too exceptional about it. It did come with a tent, which utilized once. The inside of the car is roomy enough to fit two people laying down on a twin-size mattress. The seats are not very comfortable though. It is a pretty bulky vehicle so there tends to be blind spots. I drove this car all over the United States, making sure not to push it too hard, but also confident that it would get me where I needed to go. Repairs can be difficult. Since the car has been out of production, parts can be expensive. Overall, I really like this car and it is definitely multi-functional. It's too bad it's gotten a bad reputation over the years.

Ugly Car, Great Performance
My Pontiac Aztek is still going strong, 13 years after purchase. The only problem I have experienced is with the electrical system. Otherwise, routine maintenance was all that was required.
While this is not an attractive vehicle (it is usually included in Car magazine's "ugliest cars" lists), it performed well for me.

Reliable, rugged and safe.
Overall, a quality vehicle. It only required a tune-up and some basic work through the years. It has all-wheel drive... invaluable during inclement weather. There is room for everybody, and always room to squeeze one more kid or package if needed it seems.
