Used Pontiac Firebird for Sale

The Pontiac Firebird Formula that I have I bought used in 1989. It has a v8 engine, 301 cubic inches. It has dual exhaust and a four barrel carb. The car accelerates from 0-60mph in seven seconds, which is fast for its year. The car has T-tops, glass ones. I have fixed the moldings on them so that they do not leak anymore. I bought this car in 1989 for $1,500 cash. Over the years I have maintained it well. The car has 110,000 miles on it. When I bought it in 1989, it had 60,000 miles on it. Over the years I have driven it cross country twice. I have used it as a daily driver for several different time periods in my life. The car has been repainted twice. It is currently black and red. I have outrun the police on several occasions, as the car is faster than most police cars. The top speed on this car is 140 mph. I have been lucky that I never got a speeding ticket driving it.

My car wasn't in the best of shape when I bought it, but the performance was good for it's age, interior was in better shape than some much more recent cars I've seen, with the leather and headliner still in good shape. Interior storage wasn't much, and the backseats are almost useless for carrying people, and the actual "trunk" area well isn't very deep, or nearly as wide as the car's body would suggest.

I bought this car very used - it is a 1999 and I bought it in 2013. It has stood the test of time very well, with only expected maintenance problems. I think it's a sporty looking little car, and I like that. I like that it has 4 doors. Even though it is an older car, it has remote locks and power locks and windows. The interior styling is nice. It's comfortable to drive and has a good sized trunk. It does have a very annoying and expensive to fix coolant leak that is apparently very common to this type of car, and it also has issues with the ABS sensor -- so the brakes are fine, but the light will always be on. I find that bothersome. The car is very good on gas and I get an average of 23 MPG even driving around the little suburb I live in.
