Really good
The Excursion is an extremely big vehicle that would be perfect for bigger families that also need good trunk space. It gets decent gas mileage, but it isn't great. The tower power of it is better than I would have thought for what it is. We sell at auctions, and almost every weekend and sometimes two to three times a week, we haul a 16-foot trailer loaded from front to back with all kinds of different merchandise. Even while hauling the trailer, we usually get somewhere between 15 and 17 miles per gallon. For a vehicle with third-row seating, there has never been a time where someone wasn't comfortable or didn't have enough room. Even when you are in the third row, you still have plenty of leg room unless you're taller than 6'2". The trunk is also surprisingly big. We use to own a few goats and we are able to put two square bales and two 50-pound sacks of feed and still have a little room to carry extra things.

Great family vehicle
Overall, I really like this vehicle. It's a reliable vehicle, and my family still uses it on a daily basis, and it still runs extremely well.
