Old reliable
Overall, I think this has been a great car for me. I really like how much space it has, which is useful in many situations. The space allows up to seven people to fit in the car, but the seats can also fold down so that a good deal of cargo can fit as well. The fuel economy of the Ford Freestyle is average at best but also not terrible, considering its size. The car is from 2006, so the technology has fallen behind quite considerably but, again, remains completely functional and useful.

Great car
Overall I am extremely happy with my Ford Freestyle. It is a great car for a large family since it seats seven and still has a decent amount of cargo space. This car has good safety ratings which makes me feel more comfortable putting my family in it. I compared a lot of similar vehicles, and the Freestyle was by far my favorite. In other similar vehicles, the rear of the car is only inches away from the third row seat, which I feel is a safety concern. The Freestyle has more than twice the distance between the third row seat and rear door of the car than other similar makes and models I looked at.

The used car we purchased has a lot of problems. Ford is not my favorite brand anyway, but I gave it a try. The window on the passenger side refuses to go down. We replaced the starter twice, and it still misfires. We really do not know what is wrong with it. Now it shakes over sixty miles an hour. The doors lock automatically, and the only door you can get in is the driver door. Whoever drives has to unlock the doors a second time so other people can get out and in. The driver also has to roll down the windows for everyone else in the vehicle. The passengers in the back of the car have to endure a seat belt that strangles you, because it gets tighter and tighter until you release the belt and re-belt yourself. That is not fun on the highway.
