1993 Mustang LX is a great car.
The 1993 Ford Mustang LX is a great little car. It has performed well for 186,000 miles, with only the repairs you might expect after that many miles (e.g., alternator, water pump, timing belt). The air conditioning works well. There is no loss of power when it is in use. Highway gas mileage is 35 mpg, city driving gets 21 mpg.
With a 2.3L engine, it is a little bit underpowered. It cannot maintain speed on steep hills. When entering the highway, one must make sure there is sufficient room - 0 to 60 is 3 s is not possible in this car.
