2014 Hyundai Sonata OWNER RATINGS & REVIEWS
Rockwall, Texas
Reliability at its finest.
First of all, the Hyundai Sonata that I selected is navy blue in color. The sleek style of the exterior is very attractive. The lines and contour of the body are appealing. When the style first came out, it was something unique and easily recognizable on the road.
The interior is dark gray, which is a great match for the exterior. It is roomy on the inside. Lots of leg space for the taller passengers. The driver's seat has a button near the floor that moves the seat forwards and backwards when pressed. It will also move the seat up and down. There is another button that is for lumbar support. The driver can have more or less pressure on the lower back. Now let's talk about the heated seats. Awesome feature! Both the driver and the front passenger seats are heated. I use this feature during the winter months to stay warm. The doors automatically lock when I put the vehicle in drive. When I am sitting in park, however, the doors are in the "unlocked" position. That is one feature that I am not too fond of. It is a safety concern. I would hate if someone were to open the door and jump in my car while I am sitting inside. I feel as though it leaves the occupants open to being carjacked. Other than that one issue, I really enjoy my Hyundai Sonata. I've driven it all over the state of Texas. It gets great gas mileage. That is one of the most important features that I was looking for when I purchased this vehicle.

A reliable sedan.
I don't have much bad to say about this car, although it's not a particularly exciting automobile. Aesthetically, it's fairly benign. No really positive or negative attributes about the appearance. This car does have good gas mileage, and in the four years or so that I've owned it, I don't think we've ever had to bring it in for repairs. It's a four-cylinder engine, so it's not very powerful, but I suspect most people in the market for a lower mid-line sedan aren't particularly worried about that. It doesn't have a whole lot in the way of bells and whistles, but the extras that are included function nicely. A few that come to mind are Bluetooth phone pairing and heated seats, even in the lower end models. The interior is spacious enough. Plenty of passenger side leg room. The back sear fits two car seats without feeling too cramped. The trunk is surprisingly large. I'm a musician, and this trunk was able to held a Vox AC15 amplifier (look it up for size specs), a guitar, and several bags of miscellaneous musical equipment.
