The Kia Forte is one of the best cars I have ever driven. Previously I owned a used Forte and drove it nearly 10,000 miles before trading it in for a brand new one. I never had any mechanical issues with the used one, and I haven't had mechanical issues with the new one, either, which leads me to believe that Kia knows how to put together a vehicle. The rest of my review will be about my new Kia. The style of the vehicle is beautiful. It's sleek and sophisticated with just a touch of sportiness that makes it look more expensive than it is. The features offered (UVO, back up camera, heated side mirrors, alloy wheels, etc.) are all exceptional for the price point. Unfortunately the Forte doesn't come with a blind spot camera. I have taken multiple road trips in my Forte and I haven't ever been uncomfortable. The seats do stain pretty easily, though, even if you just spill water. The car is spacious and the seats are very nice. The back seat is especially nice. I have a large breed dog who actively hates car rides but in the back seat of the Forte she has room to lay down and sleep. In my pre-Forte days, I'd have to collapse the seats to give her a flat surface to lay on but not anymore! The climate control is also very dependable. Fuel economy in the city isn't the best, I'll be the first to admit, at 20-25 MPG but on the highway it averages 30-35 MPG which is fantastic, especially on road trips. I can typically do about 900 miles for $60 in gas. I have noticed though that the paint on the Forte is pretty thin so I'm worried that in a few years I may have rust spots peaking through, but over all it's a solid vehicle.

Kia Forte, Economical, Practical and Comfortable
I am very pleased with the Kia Forte my wife purchased new in 2110. I am retired but she drives approximately 40 miles round trip to work and back every day. She selected the KIA based on price, overall styling, size, roomy interior and especially fuel economy. I drive the car frequently as I do the grocery shopping and such for the 2 of us. I also use the car to transport my RC aircraft to and from a nearby field where I fly with a couple of my neighbors. This car is quality built from front to back. The fit and finish are equivalent to higher priced luxury cars. It is quiet, comfortable and has given no trouble in spite of the higher than average mileage put on it. The only thing ever needed, besides routine, normal maintenance, was a headlamp replaced. Gas mileage is consistently around 30mpg. The fold forward rear seats allows me to carry more aircraft at one time than I could with a normal trunk. If I were not retired and could afford to do so, I'd get one for myself! Oh, I almost forgot. Though I am only 5' 9" tall, I still have trouble entering into most vehicles, (even SUVs) without ducking, or hitting my head. I can get in and out of this KIA easily.

Light and Sporty!
I bought this vehicle after having a Honda Accord for many years. The Kia is lighter, handles better, and gets far better mileage! I bought this several months ago after a close friend purchased the Forte coupe, and I'm still excited about it! I find myself taking better care of this car, just because it's such a joy to drive (special soap, leather chamois, the works!)
The Kia Forte is all-new for 2019 and sports a grown-up new look, excellent safety tech, and long list of standard features that rival much more expensive cars.
