Reliable, simple, comfortable.
I purchased the vehicle used from a private owner with cash. It was in decent shape, but the roof liner was destroyed. After replacing that, I went on to have an overall positive experience with the van. While there were a few brief problems with it over time (rattling in the engine), they were quickly fixed when taken to a car mechanic. The van is very roomy, with plenty of legroom for most average-sized people (particularly in the back), and ample storage space in the rear. I did not like that the drivers seat in particular has very little leg room for tall people (the passenger side in the front did not have this issue), and even pushing the seat all the way back made no difference. As this is a very old vehicle, I'm quite impressed with how well it's held up over time. The left window no longer rolls back up after being rolled down, but that will be a cheap and easy fix in the weeks to come. Now that most major performance issues have been fixed, the car performs perfectly, with no engine problems, etc. Because it is a large, heavy van, the vehicle does feel very clunky when making turns sharply(feels like it will flip sometimes).

Awesome family van!
We bought our 2004 Kia Sedona used. We financed it through a "pay here" lot. One draw back about buying it there is that we are paying way more than what it is actually worth! But with our credit/financial situation it was the best decision. It has 180,000 miles on it but still runs great. We drive it a lot getting the kids back and forth to church, school, Doctor appointments, etc.. Physically it looks worn down but the engine works great. Overall I am happy with the Kia Sedona and would purchase another one, but would look for a newer model.
