Satisfied.
My husband and I bought a white 2004 Mazda MPV van in 2008 and paid cash. We bought this van for a family van as we had three sons at the time. They have since grown up and gone off to college and I am still driving this van. It runs pretty good with only the normal problems you would expect. We will be looking to replace this vehicle soon. There are no longer MPVs so we will be comparing all different types of vehicles. If there were MPVs, I would have to really like the new design again. Otherwise, I would like to change it up and maybe not even go in the van direction.

Reliable no-frills minivan
My Mazda MPV is a decent used vehicle. We needed a minivan for our growing family. The bench seat in the middle can actually come apart and turn into two captain-style chairs. This is a plus in case I need to separate squabbling siblings. Unfortunately, the minivan is just the tiniest bit too short -- as if the manufacturer reaaaaally wanted to save just those extra 6" of space and managed to do so as inconveniently as possible. The driver and passenger seats, for example, can't go back far enough for an average-sized adult to have any leg room/driving room IF there is an infant car seat in the middle seat! Mazda also compressed the inner mechanical workings, costing us big bucks in labor if we ever need any work done. However, it is quite a reliable car. We bought it from my parents with 100K+ miles on it. It currently has 140K miles and is only just now starting to show its age. It has excellent braking and good gas mileage for a car its size. It has a little DVD player; however, we never use it because it requires special headphones which fell apart.
