Used Mitsubishi Galant for Sale

Very reliable car, never had any major issues. Took it across the continental US three times, and it's running like nothing happened. The only thing had to do is change light bulbs sometimes, oil and filters. Routine maintenance. It is still running perfect although it's now 12 years old car.

My vehicle is a 2005 Mitsubishi Galant XL. It is a great car, it has great gas mileage and has plenty of room. Also, its a nicely styled car and I don't have many complaints about it at all. I wrecked it and the parts I needed were so easy to find and at a fair price.

My Galant was a pretty unreliable car. It died after 272,349 miles. The look of the car was a little old-fashioned. We used to call it a grandma car. There was plenty of room inside for both rear and front seat as well as in the trunk. The worst thing about the interior was the upholstery that came with the car. If it got wet a very pronounced mildew smell would linger for a week or more. The car had several engine problems. The first major problem I had with the car was a broken timing-belt. The engine had to be taken apart and reassembled. Overall this cost about $3,700. Very expensive since I paid $5,000 for the car. Later down the road the service engine light came on constantly for problems that could never be fixed. We couldn't pass inspection with the engine light on so we tried all the mechanics recommendations. O2 sensors were worked on several times and we even changed the catalytic converter. All of this cost over $2,000, but did not resolve the engine light. Most of the time the engine light would stay on but go off for short stretches which is when we would get the inspections done. There were many more minor problems. The car did get good mileage. The acceleration was a little finicky, but I felt pretty safe driving the car because it was good sized car from a reliable maker.
