Cute and efficient until it breaks.
I initially chose my car for the style, as I wanted something cute and unique while still being energy and space efficient as well. That's pretty much what I got! I've driven almost 100,000 miles in my car and have only had two major repairs, so it's quite reliable. I feel like it drives the same at 90k as other cars have at 50k. Beyond that, it's just fun to drive. I loaded the back with stickers that might look tacky on another car but work here because of the iconic body. I sometimes have RPM issues accelerating quite quickly or uphill, but generally my car runs smoothly if just a little bit loudly. I get maybe 25 mpg, which could be better but certainly isn't terrible. I'd definitely buy a more energy-efficient version of this car, a hybrid or even electric, if it became available. Some of the greatest things about the car is being able to use Bluetooth to play music from my phone, though I do wish the radio was a little more advanced. It's quite simple compared to newer cars, but that's really just a reflection of the time it was produced. It still functions pretty well. The manual, however, is a little hard to deal with. I've had to always look up things about my car (not just the radio, but anything) online because the user manual gave pretty much no information. Overall, though, this was a great first car for me to own. I feel like I can really make it my own even if it's not perfect, and that's what's important to me.

Great stylish budget car
I really enjoy how well the vehicle controls, it feels buttery smooth on the road. It's very affordable and well-made for the price you pay and is rather unique compared to other budget car options. The gas mileage is pretty decent as well. Due to the low cost of the car, you can find ones with little quality of life features you'd expect in a luxury vehicle. For example, I bought mine at a way lower cost then other vehicles in the area, but it came with heated leather seats, a killer sound system and a well working A/C.

Love my Beetle!
I have a Volkswagen Beetle with a little over 40k miles on it. It's a great car, it rides well with minimal shocks, I've driven it in heavy rain, heavy snow, and winds and it was still easily controllable. Unlike in other smaller cars I've driven you can see perfectly well out of the windshield and the mirrors are placed strategically. I really like the automatic/manual shift so I can drive it on the occasional hiking trip in to the mountains, but still otherwise have the automatic feature for every day driving. The interior is good quality, and I love how the seats are shaped. I'm a big person with on and off back issues and this car saves my poor back a lot of pain. I've never had issues with the electronics or the sound, radio, Bluetooth etc. Even though it's a small car, it still is practical in that it can hold two weeks groceries for a family of five, and once it held a whole college dorm's worth of stuff with the backseats folded down. It is pretty decent on gas mileage. I only have to fill it once a week with regular driving/work commuting. Style wise, mine is powder blue, it's a good looking car with smooth lines, but a roundness to it that makes it look good to the eye.
