1991 Beetle Review
I owned a 1999 New Volkswagen Beetle. I had it for about 3 years. There were many great things to this car. I loved the rounded style and the blue color. I loved the six change CD player and the way the dashboard was designed. It had comfortable seating and a large backseat, as well as a large trunk for the size of car it was. I didn't like how it would rattle if you drove over 65 MPH. I also didn't like the electrical system. Every other week I had to replace a bulb in the front and back headlights. I also had some issues with the electrical components on the dashboard and had to replace those.

I love my little bug!
My car is a 1999 model vw new beetle. It has a 5 speed with a 1.8 liter gasoline powered engine; it also has turbo so it really has a lot of power. It has a grey cloth interior and a power sunroof and it is equipped with anti lock break, front and side air bags, power everything, and a security system. Its midnight blue and has aluminum rims with low profile tires. I get great gas mileage. It may be small but it is roomy, I think that is the one misconception people have about the VW Beetles. I get great gas mileage about 40mpg. It is a 5 speed 1.8 liter with turbo and it really has some power. It registers for 160 and I do believe it could do it. I love to go camping and hiking and my hatchback can accommodate tents, sleeping bags, and fishing poles. So much for people who assume that they are pressed for space.
