Very hardy car.
I like the Volvo overall as it can seat five people in the Volvo S60. it has clamoring to sit in the front seat because the rear seat is stingy with legroom, and back-seat cushions aren't as supple. The front seats more than compensate for these shortcomings and are extremely comfortable. Volvo also offers an extra 3.4 inches of legroom.

Safety first
I've been very happy with my Volvo. When my son learned how to ride a bicycle, I wouldn't actually let him go anywhere for fear that he would forget to look both ways at an intersection. So, when he learned to drive, I had to upgrade to a car with the best safety features in order to be able to sleep at night.
