Stay off of Sudley Manor if you can. They have put so many traffic lights on this road that you make horrible time especially if it is anywhere near rush hour.
Most of the car dealerships are on Sudley Road right by Highway 66. However, my favorite dealership is Miller Toyota, which is by Novant Prince William Hospital. I love it!
I don't personally live in Arlington but in a town called Bristow. Where most of my driving involves taking kids to and from school, driving to soccer practice, etc. However, I really love to drive on the back roads near my home when the temperature is just right (about 70 degrees) to open the windows and let the wind drive through my hair. I love to put on my favorite music, which changes based on my mood. I can drive around 40mph and just enjoy the day. This is especially nice during the fall when the leaves change colors. I can see horses and cows on my drive and my children like to make animals noises at them. I absolutely love driving like this.
Vint Hill. I love Vint Hill because it has "roller coaster" hills. You know the type where it dips you down real quickly and then up. The road also curves around pastures and horse farms so you can see the crops growing and the horses outside. The road can sometimes give you the feeling of swooping much like you get on a roller coaster. This is a really fun road to drive.

Just obey the laws, that's really it. Of course, once you start entering DC, then you will need to pay attention even more and know that laws differ in DC and Virginia.
Make sure you just go to a bunch of different dealers and let them know if you've found a better deal elsewhere, it might get your price lowered!
Learning how to drive was a lot of fun. I remember the first time I learned to drive a stick shift. It was in the back of a high school with my dad in the car, and I kept stopping and starting. I could barely make it to the other side. Ah, how time flies!
Kirby.. It should be called Kirvy road! It's a very curvy road (dangerous in the winter--slick roads lead to a lot of accidents). But when it's not slick, it's just a fun road to drive on. You're in the woods, so there's lots of trees. There's a small river nearby so you drive along that as well.
