A simple, reliable little ride.
This model has been one of the best cars I have owned. It has been lien free for years now and just keeps riding, with minimal maintenance. I've put more than 100,000 miles on this car, with almost no repairs. It has a pretty comfortable ride, and runs pretty well on FWD in the snow. The interior is pretty roomy, and the trunk is huge. It is not without it's idiosyncrasies and foibles. It seems to have electrical trouble. The key fob is broken. The turn signals need to be replaced frequently. Living in Iowa, it has the obligatory broken windshield. The sound system is atrocious. But it gets a good 30 miles to the gallon. Prior to owning this Buick Century, I owned a 2003 Buick Century, and that one lasted forever too. I think the people I sold it to had good luck with it as well. My son is thirteen and I may save this vehicle for him for his first car. The interior is in excellent shape and looks almost new. The vehicle is silver, with a gray interior. It is a four door. The tires still have decent life in them. She has had regular oil changes and routine maintenance. I am pretty tired of it right now though. It is at the point where I don't trust it to be reliable on long trips. Also, it has this really weird malfunction, happening only at night, when the headlights will just randomly switch off. That's right, you'll be running down the road, minding your own business, and the headlights will just randomly switch off. You must then turn them back on, and quickly. My mechanic explains this will involve removing the steering column and several hundred dollars to fix, and I've chosen to just drive the vehicle as long as I can. I avoid night driving whenever possible.

Gets from point A to point B
Being my second car, I would say it definitely got me through my early twenties pretty well. The car looked visual appealing at the start of its lifetime, but over the course of the years, you could tell how poorly manufactured the car truly was. Overall, the gas mileage was the best thing about the car I would say. It got from point A to point B with no trouble. Looking back at it, I would definitely choose Buick again as another car, but I definitely wouldn't choose the Century as my car of choice.

Should have looked at reviews first
It's a 2004 Buick Century. It cost $2,000. I don't know how many miles it has on it because the odometer has never worked. It was alright at first but then had overheating problems. Then the axle broke on it, and it cost $500 to have that repaired. Now it's down again with what I think is a broken water pump. Also, this winter made the rust com out. Oh, and the power steering stopped working.
