Mazdas are reliable and fun
I got this vehicle new about 10 years ago, and it has held up very well. I like the tight turning radius and the ease of acceleration, and I feel like I have a great deal of control behind the wheel. The only issues I have had with the car are that the transmission isn't available after market, so when I had to have it replaced it was much more expensive than it might have been for a Ford or honda. I really don't use the manual feature of the automatic manual transmission, so I don't think I would choose that kind of transmission again.

Good Gas Mileage
I have a 2006 Mazda3 and it is currently at 105,000 miles. One of the pros is that it gets pretty good gas mileage. One of the cons is that I feel it dents easily. I have a lot of dings on my car from driving on the highway. That could just be how cars are made these days. I do feel the car is pretty comfortable but I think the mirrors might be oddly placed. I always feel the need to look over my shoulder to make sure there is no one in my blind spot. I haven't had any serious issues with the vehicle, which is good. An issue I had early on with the vehicle was not taking it to the dealership for oil changes. Someone stripped the undercarriage and decided to tie it back up with zip ties. I ended up hitting the undercarriage on low pavement. I wouldn't say this is an issue with the car, just the mechanic I took it to didn't do things properly because they weren't use to my vehicle or didn't have the right tools. Also, my front headlights always go out. I thought there might be an electrical issue, but there isn't. I am constantly changing my headlights. Overall, this car is not bad.

Excellent car for a young individual's first purchase.
I really enjoyed my Mazda 3. I bought the vehicle as a graduation gift to myself when I was 18. The car was black while a light sparkle to the paint. The windows were already tinted, which was great because it helped keep it cool during the summer. The dashboard was easy to work with and never had a fault. The seats were comfortable and took a lot of wear and tear over the years, and still look fantastic. The sound system that came with the car was amazing and had great bass (for those who enjoy that). I loved the size of the windows. Cars nowadays have very small windows that can block your view, but these windows were larger and open and had very minimal blind spots. Size of the car is small, compared to most, but the four doors offered lots of accessibility. I did have to push back my seat to the farthest setting to give myself enough leg room, I'm 5' 11", but I have had this problem a lot in multiple different cars.
